I like Morgan's goofing around picture! Here's the Gooey Snickers (or Peanut M&M's) Brownie REcipe. It's pretty easy:
1 (18 oz.)German Choc or Devil's Food Cake Mix 3/4 C. Butter, Melted 1/2 C. evaporated milk or sweetened condensed milk 4 (2 oz.) snickers candy bars
*Preheat Oven to 350ยบ. In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter & evaporated milk. Beat on low speed until they blend (1-2 min) *Spread half of batter into bottom of greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake for 9-10 min. *Remove brownies from oven. Slice Snickers into 1/8 inch pieces and place slices evenly over surface. (using Peanut M&Ms takes the hassle out of cutting candy bars, but you lose the gooey ooze of the caramel.) *Take remaining half of batter in sections. Smash a hand full flat with your hands and place over candy bars as evenly as possible. *Place back in oven and bake for 20 min. (Brownies will jiggle slightly on top when you remove them from oven.) Cool and cut in to bars!
oh sheri, shopping was complete madness on friday morning! some women were crazy, elbows flying, no one with a shred of patience... but i got an electronic item (which will remain nameless because my husband looks at all the blogs, and the gift is for him) and it was about $100 cheaper than i found anywhere else... so that made it worth it! i'm not sure if i'll do it again next year :)
I love all the pictures. The one with Mason on the bike cracked me up. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I went shopping too, but out here in Pahrump it wasn't that bad and I was home within an hour. See, small towns do have some advantages!
BTW...I love your page and the playlist....I'm trying to add you on projectplaylist, but haven't found you yet. What's your screenname on there....mine's 'Annjilla' if you get to it first!
