Loryn's 3

Nothing funner then hanging out with your favorite girlfriends on your birthday.

Having our traditional doughnuts with G-ma on her birthday,Yum!

So my baby girl has turned 3 and I can hardly believe she has been here that long. I guess I have been trying to keep her my baby forever. She is quite the little lady. She talks so much and lets me know everyday that she is a big girl, not a baby. She is such a princess. I so love this little girl and can't imagine my life without her. She brings sunshine to my day and is such a sweet spirit. Loryn was so excited to have her birthday. She walked around singing Happy Birthday to herself for a week. Her favorite thing was all her princess barbies. We can never go anywhere without them now.

We had a great Halloween this year. We were so busy and sugared out. I think I am still on a sugar high. From all the ward parties to family parties, we were kept busy. The kids loved it because they were able to wear their costumes so much. I love this time of year, but it seems to go by so quickly. I love all the memories that are created and being able to be with loved ones and friends.

Lacie's baptism day

Today was a very exciting day around our house. Lacie was so excited for her baptism this afternoon. I love the spirit that is felt in our house on these special days. I can still remember Lacie in her first white dress and how happy I felt. Now we are celebrating her baptism and second white dress. I have so much joy in my heart. As a mom, right now in my life I can not imagine no greater joy then seeing my kids get baptized. I am so grateful that my children have a dad that can baptize them. What a special day for Marc and Lacie. One I am sure neither of them will ever forget. I am so proud of Lacie and the sweet and christ like girl she has become. Lacie told me today that she is trying to be like Jesus everyday, that is why she wants to be like Jesus and be baptized like him. I love you Lacie and am so pleased with the choice you have made today. Thank you to all of our family and friends who came and celebrated with us. We love you all.

Big girls trip

We had a couple houes before the show, so we decided to play some minature golf. We had a blast. We all were great big kids. I don't think the teenagers behind us were to impressed. The girls showed us bigger kids how to play. They kept getting hole in one's.

Every year my mom and sister take the big girls to St. George to watch a play and have a slumber party. This year we watched Annie. We really enjoyed it. When we got their it was raining. The girls were very worried they were going to cancel the show. Morgan said a prayer to herself and then turned to me and said, that Jesus would stop the rain so we could watch the play. I am always amazed at Morgan and the faith she has. She is such an example to me. I wish I always had the faith that she has. It did stop raining and we got to enjoy the show. The girls always look forward to going every year. I love these little traditions we have started. This is what matters most in life. Spending time with loved ones. Next year we might add boys to our club, because Tarzan is playing. Mason would love it.

Play House Disney

Saturday my sister took Loryn to Play house disney. Loryn was so excited to go.She wanted to go to Aunt Jamie's house the night before to stay. She had such a great time. When she got home all she kept doing is showing me how Tiger jumped. I have the best sister on earth. My kids love her and are always so excited to do things with her. Jamie always say's her job is to spoil them, and boy does she. There is no doubt that my kids would live with her over me. She is always there at everything for the kids ans is their biggest fan. My sister is one of the most giving and warm people I know. I hope one day I can grow up to be just like her. She is and will always be my best friend. We love you Jamie, and are so grateful you are OURS!

Alone time

Marc and I took Lacie for some alone time with us to celebrate her birthday. She loves stuffed animals, so we decided to take her to build a bear. She was so excited to be there. It made her day when there was an owl. Crazy I know, the girl loves owls. Anything she see's with an owl on it, she wants. It was so fun to spend time with just her. We really get to just see her little personality, which is quite big for such a little thing. We told her she could pick anywhere to eat. The funny thing is she wanted Wendy's. We never go there. I kept prompting her for something not related to fast food. It was her special day so we gave her what she wanted. One day the boys are going to like that she is such a cheap date. I am so grateful Heavenly Father sent her sweet spirit to us. We love you little Lacie bug!

I think everyone will sleep good tonight. We love you Lacie!

Back to school

Well we survived our first day back to scool. We meaning me. It is always hard to see my babies moving on and getting older. I can't believe Morgan is in 4 and my little tink is in 3. The hardest thing about today was my little man going to kindergarden. I was fine until he gave me a hug and nearly chocked me and wouldn't let go. It is so funny how all the moms are crying. I am not sure who it is harder on, them or us. I am so proud of all my kids. They are truely the biggest blessing in my life. They are all such great kids and always try their best in all they do. I couldn't ask for anything more. Their dad gave them great fathers blessings, which always makes me feel so much better sending them off. I am so grateful that they have the priesthood in there lives. I know how great it is for them, since I didn't have the priesthood at home growing up. I am thankful everyday that I have a husband worthy to hold the priesthood. The only bad thing about the day, the girls said was, they can't believe they have homework on the first day. Welcome back to school!

Night out with my girls

This past weekend the girls and I went to their first concert. The girls were so excited to see Demi Lovato and David Archuleta. I told them if they wanted to go they would have to earn the money to pay for thier tickets. They need to know that I am not made of money. I think they appreciated it way more to. They went to G-ma's and earned the rest that they needed. Morgan was so into the concert. She was dancing and screaming, she loved Demi Lovato. She was really impressed that David was mormon. Our friends Missy and Rylie came along for the fun. The girls had a blast and now want to go to the Jonas Brothers concert. I guess they better get to saving. Thanks girls for a fun night out, I love you.

Another year towards eternity

Well today Marc and I are celebrating 12 years together. Yesterday we went out to a wonderful dinner and a movie. I love spending one on one time with Marc. Life is so busy now it is nice just being together. I feel so blessed to have him in my life as my husband, friend, and father of our kids. Marc is truely the love of my life, and I am excited to share eternity with him. Marc,I love you. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for sending you to me!

Mason's preschool graduation

Well I can't believe Mason has graduated from preschool and has moved up to kindergarden. It makes me sad to see him grow up. He is my little boy and I would like to keep it that way forever. He is so sweet and loving towards me. He is all boy but knows how to make my heart melt. Mrs. Tate said he is the dare devil in class always falling and rolling on the floor, to bumping into walls to make everyone laugh. He is going to do great at school, and is so excited to go to big boys school. I think I am going to have a harder time then he will. I love my little man and am so proud of him everyday.

End of soccer

Mason's first shot at soccer is over. He had alot of fun playing and running around. I think he spent most of the time on the ground. Right when he was getting the hang of things it ended. He came close several times on scoring a goal. He finally told me he was just to little to score a goal, maybe next time. He is so funny. Mason really enjoyed playing goalie, probably because he could dive on and touch the ball. Mason can hardly wait until it starts again, so he can play with all of his friends again. He did ask if he could play all sports that have a ball. He is such a boy. Can't wait to watch him play again.

Poor baby

Day at the ER

Today we spent the day at the er with Loryn. She fell down the stairs and hit the railing. So I thought I was ok with blood seeing as I worked around, but apparently not my own kids. I passed out with her sitting in my lap trying to stop the bleeding. I felt so bad for her. Loryn is quite the trooper and did so well being glued back together. Hopefully it heals well!

Go team Dian no E

We had a great time at the cancer walk on Friday. It started at 7 p.m. and went until7 a.m. the next morning. We made until 3 a.m. but I kept thinking I better get some sleep because I do still have kids to chase around the next day. All our family came out to walk and raise money for cancer in memory of our grandma. She was there though cheering us on in spirit. The kids had so much fun running around with their cousins. They finally fell asleep around 11:30 except for Morgan who was in it for the long haul. She kept saying she wasn't tired but when we got her in the car and she wasn't moving, she was out. Thanks to all who donated, it was appreciated. Hopefully one day we will find a cure. Thanks Jamie for all your hard work putting it together. We even took the trophy home for best camp! We love and miss you Granny Great! Can't wait to do it again next year.

We had a very fun and busy Easter as usual. The kids always look forward to spending it with all their family. The easter egg hunt was a hit with the kids and adults this year. It ended in a big marshmellow fight. I never thought they could be used as a weapon, but they can really hurt. It didn't help that they were marshmellows on steroids, they were huge. My family always has a blast when we get together. Morgan ended up with $16 in her eggs. We also enjoyed the traditional egg dying. The kids were up bright and early Sunday searching for their baskets. It worked out good though because we got pictures in their Easter outfits and was on church on time. Easter dinner is always a favorite. My mother in law is the best cook! Thanks to all my family for making Easter great.

Arrrr Matey!

We finally finished Mason's room. I think it turned out really cute. We have had some of Marc's older brothers furniture when he was a boy that had pirate ships on it, so why not do a pirate themed room. Michelle was so great to help with all the cute added touches. She is very creative and made the cute letters. Mason really likes it. Thanks Aunt Shell for all the help. Now onto the girls rooms. For some reason my life is not complete if I don't have a million different projects going on in my house. The girls are totlaly excited to do their rooms. Morgan wants to do trading spaces with Lacie and do eachothers rooms. That will be fun and interesting.

Monster Trucks

Mason had an exciting weekend with his Aunt Jamie, Uncle Randy,Papa, and G-ma. His first trip to the monster trucks was a blast. Mason is all about cars and wheels, so it didn't get much better then that. He kept telling me how big the trucks were. He really loved the dog truck and even got a dog truck pillow and shirt. Thanks everyone for taking Mason to the trucks, he will be talking about it for awhile, I am sure. You can tell he had a fun and long day with him asleep on uncle Randy's shoulders. My kids can sleep anywhere. They get that from me.
