Valentine fun

A group of my girlfriends and I got together to make Valentine candy boxes for our husbands. I think it was so much fun to make and I think Marc will appreciate it alot more than me buying him a box of chocolates. All of us brought a treat to share and enjoyed chatting while doing our boxes. I like that I was able to personalize it more and leave my own messages to him all wrapped up. I am so grateful for my Valentine and fall in love with him a little more everyday!

So this year I picked these mailboxes up for each of the kids, and everyday until Valentines I leave a little suprise in it for them. Each day the kids hit the door running to see what is in them after school. I have had fun doing this and love to see my kids with smiles on their faces. I love that such simple acts of kindness brings so much happiness.

Here is my dollar store project me and my friend Missy did. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Disney on Ice

This year all the kids went to the show. Mason was so excited to see the cars. I think that was my favorite part of the show. This was also Loryn's first time going. I love watching the look on their faces. She was happy to see Ariel and wanted ti go right down and see her. My mom and sister spoil my kids with this every year. Not that the show isn't enough they have to buy them one of the toys that are so over priced and all the sweets. This year Morgan said she was to big for the toys and didn't want one. My poor big girl is growing up way to fast. We all had a great time and the kids look forward to this time each year.

Mason is 6

Of course you can't celebrate your big day without having donuts with G-ma. The kids look forward to this every year.

So my little man turned 6 and boy am I sad. He is growing up before my eyes. I wish I could freeze time or at least slow it down. Mason is such a sweet boy and very loving, especially to his mom. I gladly admit he is a mama's boy. I dread the day he doesn't want to hug and kiss me goodbye. We were going to have a sports party at the park but because of the rain we had to change plans for his party. We stayed in and had a movie and snack night with a bunch of his pals. He wanted all boys, but had to settle on having his 3 sisters there also. It is funny how different all girl parties are to all boy parties. He had a great time and really enjoyed hanging with all boys. I am so grateful for my boy and love him to pieces!
